Welcome to my travel page. My name is Jo and I love to travel! This site is about my vacation trips to Florida. I've been all over the United States, but Florida is one of my favorites. Since I live in the cold midwest, a trip to Florida is always a good thing. I have included travel tips, history of Florida destinations, and commentary about what I have seen and done, along with lots and lots of pictures.

I've been to many interesting places in Florida; and had some great adventures. Key West was beautiful but horribly crowded. I did spend a wonderful afternoon at Ernest Hemingway's home in Key West. Hollywood Florida is where I've spent a lot of time, I can tell you where not to stay there... I've been all along the gulf coast, from Tampa down to Ft. Myers. Spent a day on Sanibel Island and found an alligator wandering through the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. One of my favorite places is St. Augustine. You'll need a couple of days to see everything there, do not miss going to the Tolomato cemetery. It is one seriously creepy place! The one place in Florida I've never been to is Disney World, so you won't find any pictures here of that. Maybe on my next trip...
